The Art of Mending; Upcoming Repair Workshop

 

Learn about the tools and tricks for knitwear repair with Francie founder Anna Woodruff. Mending can be creative, meditative, is a way to save money, and also helps minimize the amount of garments going to landfill. 


All levels of experience are welcome; this workshop will cover the basics as well as some optional advanced techniques.

WHAT TO BRING

An item or two in need of TLC. We will be specializing in repairing knits, but these techniques will work for repairing a hole in almost any garment.


OPTIONAL

Feel free to bring along your own scissors, sewing needles, yarns, crochet hooks and darning mushrooms if you like. However there will also be tools and materials there that are free to use.
